For Christmas we went down to Lumberton to visit the family. Both Makaylee and Caleb loved it and had an amazing time. Caleb especially loved all the goodies that come with Christmas. Now, anything he sees, whether it be a bag of pretzels or Nemo friends he asks, "have dat Chwismis."
This was Christmas day after 2 hours of opening gifts.
Makaylee, you've been smiling since you were three months old and it always lights up the room. Your eyes sparkle and shine. You have such a kind nature and are such a blessing from God. A mommy could not ask for a more amazing little girl to call mine.

Halloween 08
Aubren was super cute as Dorothy and Sydney was an adorable ballerina
The kids loved playing in the sand at the party and Caleb always has fun with his buddy Jackman. Tyler was a handsome firefighter and Carsen looked super star fabulous as a cheerleader.
Caleb was an amazingly cute tough big bull rider and Makaylee was so sweet as a little kitten. We had fun going to the Kazee's annual party, where Caleb won cutest costume for the 2nd year in a row. He really enjoyed his costume this year. Trick or Treat time with the Shelton’s (Ellie and Anna) and the Stite's (Hampton) was also tons of fun.

Owens Farm Fall 08
ADORABLE
You both steal my heart each time you smile. Every time I see that sweet grin, it brings a smile to my face. Your personalities always cheer me up. You each brighten my day. Thank you for spreading joy and reminding me to live in the present.
Caleb loved feeding the animals and was captivated by the LONGHORN. We all had a blast going on the hay ride.
You guys have started becoming such great friends. It is so wonderful to watch. It really is a gift to enjoy.

Watch Daddy Hit a Baseball
We had tons of fun going to all Daddy's Monday night softball games. Caleb always got to play with his 2 buds Jackman and H Dog (Hampton). And Makaylee enjoyed being out and bundled up in her cute pink hat at 6 months. It was a great season and Daddy's team won the league. Now that the season is over, Caleb is still asking to go watch Daddy hit a baseball. What a fun time we have as a family of 4.

Sits Up
On Sept 6th you started sitting up when we put you in the sit-up position. You love to play noise games with mommy as you sit up like a big girl. You are such a happy baby always giggling and smiling. We are going through a bit of a rough patch with nap time. You are so alert and don't want to miss out on any of the fun. If it is not completely quiet you want nothing to do with sleep. Just like your mommy you are a light sleeper.
Hanging around the house one evening. Brother thought he would lick Sissy and see if she tasted good. Umm Umm Good!

Attie is Three
We got you all dressed up in your RED, WHITE & BLUE to represent Team USA. Caleb decided sporting the pink crocs was a must and Attie put the blue crocs on the wrong feet.
You both were very excited about the day’s events and Attie's 3rd Birthday, where we set up different games for some healthy competition.
One of the most fun games we played was the torch run. We filled RED cups up with water and had you all sprinted to the finish line. Attie won the whole thing and Caleb threw a fit and wanted nothing to do with the race. About the only part of the day Caleb wasn't overwhelmed, was during the event of throwing balls through the rings.

Fishing in Wyoming
Our fishing trip up in the Bighorn Mountains was not so much a fishing trip as splash time in the lake. I am sure all the other people fishing didn't really appreciate the rocks being thrown or the baby screaming, but we sure had fun. Makaylee (aka: Kaylee Bell) was for some reason not a happy camper that day. I guess she couldn't really adjust to the altitude change. Caleb fished for a few minutes and then he decide he would join the fish swimming in the lake. Attie was probably the most diligent fisherman that day, but she too decide ring around the roses and falling down in the water was a better way to spend the day. Thanks though Uncle Toby for teaching us all how to cast our lines out in the water.

Makaylee's Arrival
Today, God Blessed us with you, a sweet baby girl. You are a gentle spirit and your arrival went as any mom delivering naturally would hope for. I started having contractions in the morning and went to a church luncheon. I got a little tip that pumping would help speed up your arrival and it did. We went shopping at Target and the contractions got stronger, but when we checked into the hospital around 10pm Mommy was only dilated to a 2 and we thought we would be going home. Two hours later they informed us we were progressing and you would be coming soon. After another 2 hours you were ready, but we couldn't find the doctor. Struggling through 10 more painful contractions the doctor finally arrived, 2 pushes later I was holding a beautiful baby girl in my arms.
