Cory decided he wanted Caleb to be a scarecrow for Halloween and I have to say I think he was absolutely adorable. At first he had no desire to wear his costume, but after a few outings of battling him to get it on he realized how much positive attention he was receiving and then he was all about being a scarecrow. All the kiddos were cute in there costumes at the Kazee's Party. Caleb won a scarecrow plate for the cutest costume. So FUN!!!

We went to Montana in August. We went on a number of hikes and we all had a great time. This was a fun nature hike in Bigfork. We skipped rocks which you loved. Daddy had lots of fun making fun of the way Mommy threw the rock. To the right is our outing to see the bears. You were so excited and learned to growl. Went to the House of Mystery where they had this big rocking chair.

Caleb's Cord Cut Wrong...So Scary
I know most people think we are crazy that we did get more upset when this happened, but I believe the Lord allowed us to totally trust Him with our new little baby boy. This video makes me sick to my stomach, but it also reminds me of the gift of life and how we are not in control and we most fully trust the Lord especially with our most cherished gifts. We love our healthy little Caleb and I can honestly say as hard it is to watch the Lord knew that I needed to understand from the start that He entrusted me with His child and He cares for him more than I could ever know.

Your umbilical cord was cut wrong so you had to go to the NICU. Mommy was not doing well with the Magnesium, so she didn't get to see you for 24 hours. This was very difficult for her but Daddy was taking good care of you. You also had a hard time with the Magnesium so it was a good thing you were in the NICU. You were the biggest and healthiest baby in the NICU. They stuck you in the back :(, but you had a great night nurse, who got you on a good schedule. We were glad she was there, nights were your tough time.

Attie Jo Born August 13th 2005
I was so excited for her arrival. I fell in love the moment I saw her sweet little face. What a gift I get to be Auntie Jamie to a precious little girl named ATTIE JO. From the start she would let you know what she liked and didn't like. And as you can see she was not a fan of bath time. I think the lack of body fat made this experience very uncomfortable. She was so tiny, but had long beautiful fingers. The kind Grandma Connee would say were perfect for playing the piano.
Before Attie arrived I went up to visit and prepared her nursery. It was my first time to paint like this, but I had a lot of fun and we were happy with the outcome.
